Defining intimate healthcare
Coloplast develops products and services to make life easier for people with deeply personal and private medical conditions. These conditions are often associated with trauma and taboo. The more intimate the condition, the greater the requirement to come closer to customers, understand their world and develop solutions that are sensitive to their special needs. We call this Intimate Healthcare.

Benefits
We pride ourselves on providing a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. This includes; 

Annual Leave
The company provides 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays for the first two years of employment. Once an employee has completed two years service the holiday entitlement increases to 35 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.

Profit Related Pay
We are proud of our achievements in the marketplace and want our employees to share in our success. The company therefore has a profit related payment scheme, which is open to all employees, after the necessary qualifying period

Share Incentive Plan
The Coloplast Share Incentive Plan is a scheme which allows shares to be provided to employees in a tax-efficient (and NIC-efficient) way. These shares are known as “Partnership Shares”.

We believe that the use of Partnership Shares will extend and strengthen the culture of employee share ownership that we already have and encourage you to feel more a part of the company and more able to share in its success.

BUPA
All employees receive free, personal private medical cover - we even pay the excess for treatments which are authorised under our scheme.

Group Personal Pension
A contributory Company Pension Scheme is available for all employees.

Life Assurance
To give you peace of mind we also provide a death in service benefit which equates to four times your salary.

Childcare Vouchers
Coloplast support the Busy Bees scheme which provides Tax and NI efficient vouchers for employees to use to pay for a wide range of childcare.

Learning & Development
In our last financial year we spent three times the national average on learning and development and 2010 has seen a further increase in our investment. We have a range of learning and development options including on-the-job training, e-learning, facilitated courses and externally recognised professional qualifications. These all form part of our Coloplast Academy, an award winning learning and development portal.

Finally, as a business we also run a number of bonus, reward and recognition schemes.

In 2009 The Sales Person of the Year from each sales division and the Employee of the Year from Head Office all won a fully expensed trip for two to Thailand.
